  • tom“With ExercisAbilities' help, Tom takes care of his own personal cares, exercises 5 days a week to build up strength in his legs and keep his body functioning. Your Journey to Living the Active and Healthy Life you Dream of Begins HERE!

Lifelong wellness is possible and achievable in the setting of physical or medical challenges.  Neurologic injury, medical complexity, pain, and physically or intellectually challenging conditions can make it difficult for any person or child to thrive without meeting many difficult barriers. Research and experience show that increased movement is key to improved health, especially when physical or intellectual challenges exist.  There is no time like now to begin your journey to a happy, healthy, and more independent life.  Let EA help you break down all of those barriers and make healthy and happy happen for you!

Whether you are recovering from surgery, had a stroke, spine or brain injury, have diabetes, heart disease, or chronic pain or are an aging adult with balance or dizziness problems, ExercisAbilities is the best resource in southeast Minnesota for you to begin or continue your journey to regain movement, decrease your pain, and enjoy life again.

Prepare to Improve with our EA Team

Our team of physical, occupational and speech therapists, specialized personal trainers, therapeutic recreation specialists, health coaches, volunteers, and students in training who work together to help children, adults, and older adults of all abilities with physical and medical challenges to achieve their optimal health and independence.  Want to LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR TEAM?

Helping you achieve your physical improvement and health goals is our passion

Our unique process, the EA Health Action Plan, is a roadmap to lead you to reach that version of you that you are dreaming of.  Your unique EA Health Action Plan is developed with your personal health and independence goals at the center.  Your EA team will reflect on the 6 circles of health, shown below, to develop a plan that includes traditional therapy of exercise and strength AND coaching on lifestyle choices that has historically slowed your progress.  Our pediatric program does this by working closely with the family to identify areas that may be impacting progress at home, school, or life and working together to make meaningful changes with their progress in mind.

You don’t have to wait for a medical provider to refer you.

We are here to assure that you continue to be better, feel better, move better, talk better, play better, live better without barriers. Call us first and our care coordinators can make sure that your medical provider is aware of your EA Health Action Plan.  Our Care Coordinators will also work with you to explore all payment options including health insurance if applicable.  Often, waiting for medical appointments for referrals can delay your care and are usually not necessary.  Of  course, we love and welcome referrals from any of our medical or community providers on your behalf.

Sounds expensive? Don’t let that stop you from checking us out

ExercisAbilities is committed to making sure that ALL people, children to adults, have access to the therapeutic health services that they require to live their best healthy, active, and fulfilled life.  Our holistic therapeutic health coaching approach propels progress beyond where any therapy alone approach can to achieve goals based on science and evidence, not payment source or your ability to pay.  For this reason, we are a Nonprofit 501c3 company.  We believe that nothing should exclude you from getting the help that you need.  We serve those who can afford and those that cannot by offering a financial assessment for needs based scholarship consideration.  Our reduced fees are based on sliding scales and make anything possible to achieve.  If you believe that you may qualify for financial assistance or consideration of Minnesota state Home and Community Based Services Waiver use to cover you needed care, let your care coordinator know during the initial visit.

If you want to give back so that others can achieve their goals through financial assistance to participate in our programs – check out our many ways to offer time, talent, or financial donation HERE.
